What is it?
The WCC Voice and Data (VaD) Unit is a product co-developed by World Communication Center and Synergy Technologies consisting of a combination of the 9522 L-Band Transceiver and a communications interface to provide a communication link for voice and data connections.

Why do you need it?
The usage of the 9522 in combination with the communications interface of the VaD unit provides the same usability functions as the Iridium 9505 satellite phone. This particular design allows for easy concealment of the transceiver unit, yet the ease of using the attached handset for a communication interface. The WCC VaD Unit can be used in conjunction with an additional SIM card reader for others to be able to use the unit for communication also with their own SIM cards. The use of additional handsets also provides the option to have multiple locations in a vehicle for varied placement within a particular configuration. This system integration allows for better communications that keep staying in touch via voice and data much easier.
